Day-by-Day Itinerary
Your journey begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Cairo or Giza by a private air-conditioned vehicle. The drive heads southwest across the desert highway toward Bahariya Oasis, located approximately 370 km from Cairo, with a journey time of about four to five hours. Upon arrival, your desert guide will welcome you and assist with preparations before beginning the desert safari experience.
Lunch is served at the safari camp upon arrival in Bahariya Oasis, providing time to relax before the afternoon exploration begins.
Black Desert
The Black Desert is characterized by dark volcanic hills formed from ancient eruptions that spread basalt across the desert floor.
