Egypt by Rail: Cairo & Nile Cruise Adventure – 7 Days

Seven days of classic Egypt with a romantic twist — board a sleeper train from Cairo to Luxor, sail the Nile between ancient temples, and return through the Egyptian countryside.

    7 Days / 6 Nights

    About This Journey

This seven-day journey combines Cairo's ancient wonders with a classic Nile Cruise experience, connected by overnight sleeper trains. You begin at the Giza Pyramids and the new Grand Egyptian Museum before boarding the sleeper train to Aswan. There, you embark on a three-night Nile Cruise northward to Luxor, stopping at the temples of Kom Ombo and Edfu along the way. The cruise follows the traditional route that travelers have taken for centuries, moving with the current from Aswan to Luxor.
